May 23 Here you go WR!(insert big SIGH) So here I go with the tag I got from my #1BFF (who hasn't called me today BTW!) LOL! 1. I have a messy house, but my work space is OCD neat and organized. 2. I have a hard time coming up with interesting things to say about me. 3. I make my bed every night, right before I go to bed. 4. Every time My Little Man is in trouble, I go in the other room and cry. (Those chocolate M&M eyes pierce my heart!) 5. I can't swallow lettuce. It gets stuck in my throat no matter how small the shard is. 6. I hate when anyone talks about how much they don't like the size of their body. (especially if they are wearing my clothes. KD) 7. I love roller coasters. 8. I am a people watcher. I love to look at how people inner act with each other. So there you have it . . . I just don't know any one to tag, so . . . If you read this blog you have been tagged! Are you in doubt? Wear Pink! May 21 Frustrated!Is it just me or do you ever want to lean over to a coworker and scream in their ear "SHUT UP!!!!! You are totally wrong!" I am having one of those days! I am working with a 68 year old lady that has been in this office doing the same thing everyday for the past 12 years, and thinks she is never wrong. I know I am just a young whipper snapper, but when new more efficient ways come up at least try them!!! I am sorry but she needs to RETIRE! Go home, and spend time with your husband (I might add who cooks, cleans, shopps, does all of your errands, and is your personal driver) and grandchildren. Enjoy what life you have left! Don't come to work and bother me!
Wow, I am sorry that was a very harsh Blog! I just had to get that out.
So, my weekend was just alright. My Racing Junkie had his little 8 year old Horse Lover this weekend. (My little Man goes to dad's on that weekend, so we only have to entertain one at a time.) Well, for some reason she was really getting on my nerves this weekend. It was very much like, "But DADDY!" Then my racing junkie replies, "ok, sweetie". So, I bit my tounge. I didn't say anything. Later on Sunday afternoon, Horse Lover came up to me and said, "I really like hanging out with you, because you play with me. My mommy doesn't do that." I feel really bad for her, but she can't get away with everything. I know that she is sincere when she says things like that, but I just wonder how much is manipulation.
I must get back to work, but I needed a little stress relief!

May 17 My favorite TV ShowSo . . . Saved by the Bell used to be my favorite, and Full House used to be my favorite, and Fraggle Rock was another favorite, and even Friends was a favorite . . . But now I am somewhat a grown up and My FAVORITE show for the past 3 seasons is GREY'S ANATOMY. I know . . . and my "racing junkie" makes total fun of me for it. Well, he was at his house working on his race car, and my #1BFF came over to my house just to watch the Season Finally. See, I am a total dork. I love my #1BFF so much that during the commercials I call her to say "DID YOU JUST SEE WHAT HAPPENED?!?!" Cause in my mind I know she is watching it, but I just want to make sure she did see it! So . . . we just decided to watch it together (that way I could make sure she really was watching). Ok, so we both laughed, cried, gasped, laughed and cried some more! Did I mention we cried! I am talking STREAMS O' TEARS!!! I guess it is because there are things in that show that we both can relate to. For example the horrid Mother-in-law that wants to initiate you into the family not welcome you in with open arms. (ok, so we laughed at that part! The mother-in-law "took her eyebrows". YES, they were gone!) Towards the end, the character Christina was standing in her apartment (in her wedding gown) looking at all of the things of Burk's that were missing. Yeah, that has happened to me (just not on my wedding day)! I hate that feeling of knowing that the person you loved the most didn't love you. Well, enough thinking of the past. You can't change it. Hope you learned from it. Knowing the steps you take today can change the future! Speaking of future . . . I can't wait til Season 4 of MY FAVORITE TV SHOW Grey's Anatomy! I will be sitting on my comfy couch making calls to my #1BFF during the commercials. (yes we will, and don't deny it!) Remember when in doubt, WEAR PINK! May 15 Here goes nothing . . .So . . . Here goes the start to a new hobby. I hope I will continue this better than all of the other "hobbies" that I haven't quite mastered. I really think this could be fun. It doesn't seem to cost me money, take up space in my house, or even cause a mess! I am so excited to see what this experience may bring. What do I have to lose? I can't lose my "Little Man", who just turned 4 and is CRAZY over DINOSAURS! I can't lose my "Racing Junkie", who doesn't know about my new SECRET hobby! I can't lose my BFF#1 (you know who you are if you get to read this!), who is UNCONDITIONAL and I am so thankful! I can't lose "The Rents"! Heck they don't know! I can't lose the "Lil Sis", who is becoming more of a friend with age. So far, I can't think of anything I could lose. So . . . there you have it. My first blog. I think I have covered just about all of the introductions. At this time in my new hobby, I will probably have all names changed to protect the innocent or unknowing! That way there is no harm in discussion. When in doubt wear pink! |
